    Series created by Roy Clarke, and produced by Paul Knight. Music by Brian Bennett; Pulaski Theme performed by The Shadows. The stunts (a prominent feature of this series) were arranged by legendary stuntman Alf Joint who, three years earlier, had arranged the spectacular 430-foot plunge of Holmes and Moriarty down the Reichenbach Falls for the climactic episode, "The Final Problem", of the second series of the Granada TV production of The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, starring Jeremy Brett.
